Men’s Retreat
September 26–27
The Men’s Retreat is a chance to get away, learn to know and help each other in following Jesus better. We look forward to many meaningful conversations, powerful times in God’s Word and prayer, fun activities, delicious food, and uplifting singing. Don’t miss this opportunity to grow, connect, and start the year together.
Our retreat location is Covenant Hills Camp, located just north of Davison, Michigan. Covenant Hills’ close location to Metro Detroit and its 277 acres make it an excellent spot for our gathering. The camp offers a range of activities, including fishing, a gymnasium, and nature trails, along with comfortable accommodations and restrooms in each cabin.
You can do as much as you’d like at Covenant Hills or sit back and relax. Volleyball, football and basketball games will be organized. Foosball and ping-pong are pretty competitive. As well, all of Covenant Hill’s recreational facilities will be available during the retreat. This includes fishing and canoeing on the lake, walking on the trails, and using the recreation hall. Feel free to bring your favorite lawn or board game.
Bring your Bible and pen, bedding, pillow, towel, toiletries, gym shoes (and a good set of earplugs!)
Retreat Cost: $95.00
If you have questions about the retreat, please contact the church office or speak with Tracy Fressel.
Speaker
Pastor Anthony Lange
Pastor Anthony Lange is no stranger to the men of our church, as he worshipped and served alongside us before taking a pastoral role at Berean Baptist Church in Livonia. Anthony is a graduate of DBTS and is pursuing certification in biblical counseling through ACBC. His desire for ministry is to see people come to know Christ and see people grow into greater Christlikeness. He is happy to meet with anyone from any walk of life to help them pursue or discover a relationship with Christ. Anthony and his wife, Kali, have been married since 2017 and are blessed to have four children.
