Mark your calendars for our annual Ministry Equipping and Training Seminar on August 26 during the evening service.
We will be hosting workshops pertaining to the various ministries of our church to help better equip and train our ministry volunteers. It’s also a great way to get acquainted with the variety of ministry opportunities here at ICBC! We hope to see you there!

Awana Workers Are Not Automatons!* – Tim Aynes
We’ve been doing Awana at ICBC for 30 years and it’s easy to just show up and go through the motions each Wednesday night. Let’s talk about some ways to engage students with God’s life-changing truth this year and avoid being an ineffective robot! This session is mandatory for all Awana workers.
Graphics Presentation Training* – Phil Cecil
This session will review some graphics presentation technics. Specifically, we will be training on a new software for the service. This session is mandatory training for all AV Team Members.

A session that biblically motivates parents and equips them with practical resources to protect their children from online danger.
More Than a Meeting – Tracy Fressel
Help us seize Sunday morning Adult Bible Studies as a springboard to connect the adult members of our church. This session concentrates on the “Big Five” fellowship commitments which turn our Adult Bible Studies from just a meeting into a ministry of connecting our church family.
Caring for Sick, Suffering and Sorrowing Church Members – Tracy Fressel
Helping church members who face sickness, on-going shut-in limitation and/or the death of a loved one is an opportunity for each church member to minister in our church. This session will help you provide spiritually beneficial care and practical assistance as well as informing you on how you can engage with our congregational care team.
Teaching isn’t Telling* – Jim Hubbard
Looking for ways to improve your teaching ministry? This brief overview of the art and science of teaching may provide you with helpful concepts in developing your ability to enable your students to actually learn what you are covering in class. This session is mandatory for all Sunday School, Primary Church, Junior Church, and K5 church teachers.
